| Endowment Committee |
|
| To
help raise awareness of the financial needs of the Parish now,
and in the future, and to be a resource for all members of the
St. Louis Community, who have an interest in contributing to
funds which will provide money to meet these needs.
To be educators who proactively communicate with parish
members about ways they can support these parish needs, while
at the same time achieve their own personal financial
objectives.

| Facilities Committee |
|
|
The
mission of the facilities committee is to provide long range
planning and goal setting related to the St. Louis Parish and
school campus, consisting of 10 structures valued at over ten
million dollars, including four historic buildings dating from
the 1800’s.
In
addition we help manage and implement operational
activities such as the Fall and Spring Work Days, or
through individual volunteer activities based on carpentry,
computers, electrical, etc. We also provide parishioner input
to the Parish administration for facility related issues.
If
you have an interest in heating, plumbing, air conditioning,
lighting, roofing, painting, parking, landscaping, grounds
keeping, signage, windows, masonry, fire detection, carpentry,
wiring for computer networks, logistics or operations we
invite you to join us.
We
would encourage everyone to participate in the Work Days even
if you cannot serve on the committee.

| Faith Formation Committee
|
|
| Is dedicated to enriching the life-long faith development
of our parishioners. It provides information and opportunities
for continued spiritual growth and a greater understanding of
our Catholic Faith. It works to support existing religious
education efforts and seeks to develop new programs that will
lead to worship, prayer, and stewardship for our faith family.

| Hospitality Committee |
|
The
mission of the Hospitality Committee is create a friendly and
welcoming environment through organization of various
activities and events. It is intended to bring the parish
community together in a social venue and increase camaraderie
among parishioners.
Last year we enjoyed many social gatherings including the St.
Patrick's Day Party, Children's Easter Egg Hunt, the summer
Parish Picnic, and the Fall Social.
In t he past, other events have included a Spring
Fling, St. Louis Night at the Red Wings and the Advent Soup
Supper.
We
are always looking for fun and energetic people to join in on
the planning. If you don’t want to be involved on a
continual basis, please join us for you favorite event and
enjoy making it happen.

| Liturgy
Committee |
|
| To interact as a committee and help shape our liturgies, by
becoming directly involved in our Eucharistic celebrations.
Open to everyone with a love for our liturgies.

| Social
Outreach Committee
|
|
| To affirm all life; to reach out to the poor, the hurting,
and the vulnerable through concrete acts of charity; to
promote awareness education for the consistent life ethic
through daily advocacy, education, compassion, and example of
personal action to the parish community and the community at
large. Projects and programs include: Saint's Place, Pittsford
Food Cupboard, Bread for the World, Respect life activities,
St. Bridget's Connection, Habitat for Humanity, Parents DO
Care, and Green Acres.

| Tithing
Committee |
|
| The
Tithing Committee selects the organizations which receive 10%
of each week's actual "sacrificial giving"
contributions from our parishioners. The mission of this
committee is to "Feed the Hungry" &
"Challenge Poverty." Therefore, the decisions
that are made are reflective of this gospel command and mirror
the parish's "Stewardship" commitment.
In the
last fiscal year, our support of the "poorest of the
poor" resulted in the distribution to various local,
regional groups requiring our thoughtful and prayerful
support.
