Endowment
Committee
-------------------------------
Saint Louis
Endowment Committee
The Committee was originally
established in 1997, as the Planned Giving Committee – to increase
awareness among parishioners about the long term financial needs of
the parish and the establishment of an endowment program that will
embrace the parish initiatives presently in place and provide
contingencies for future needs.
Mission
of the Endowment Committee:
To help raise awareness of the financial needs of the Parish
now, and in the future, and to be a resource for all members of the
St. Louis Community, who have an interest in contributing to funds
which will provide money to meet these needs.
To be educators who proactively communicate with parish
members about ways they can support these parish needs, while at the
same time achieve their own personal financial objectives.
Charitable
Giving Vehicles:
Using various
charitable giving vehicles, parishioners can provide a lasting
legacy for our parish and future congregations, while generating
substantial gift and estate tax savings for heirs.
Some gift plans even feature current income tax benefits,
increased income and other welcome advantages.
JEB
Tithing Endowment Fund - Established in the spirit of
Jesus, and with the memory of Joseph E. Bagale, this fund will
help solidify St. Louis' commitment to projects
which will truly allow the poor and oppressed to be heard
and cared for.
St.
Louis Upper Room Fund
- The "Upper Room" was the place Jesus instructed
his disciples to prepare for the Passover meal. For the St. Louis
community, our primary "upper room" is the church
building, although all the facilities on our campus must be
"ready" for our Lord's ministry. The purpose of this
fund is to provide for major repairs, large-scale maintenance and
improvements to the physical buildings on the St. Louis campus.
Life
Long Faith Formation Fund
- Embracing the gospel values is an essential component to
Christian formation and education. St. Louis School is dedicated
to the development of these values among our parish youth and our
other Faith Formation activities for the adult community seek to
form Catholics in beliefs, morality and spirituality throughout
life. This fund will help endow a first rate religious education
program so parishioners will come to know Jesus as the center of
their lives.
St.
Louis Unrestricted Fund -
Broad in focus, this fund is intended to provide for future
contingencies, emergencies and challenges as determined by the
Pastor and the Parish Council.
