Care Ministry

Provides ministry to those parishioners with special needs.
Visits are made to the homebound, those in nursing homes and
hospitals. Special gifts are taken during the holidays and in
the spring.
Communion services are held at local long-term
care facilities. The Lazarus group gives support during
funerals and sympathy cards are sent.
They also will provide a
reception following a funeral service. A bereavement group is
available for the grief process.
An annual blood drive is held
on Good Friday. The "Sunshine Luncheon" in the
spring provides a fun-filled afternoon for nursing home
residents.
