Forty years after Father Reddington dedicated the current church, St Louis was renovated to keep pace with a growing parish family, classroom expansion, and Diocese guidelines on mass frequency. Great care was taken to maintain the integrity of Father Reddington's vision and the needs of the parish community.
A new two- story building connecting the narthex with Reddington Hall provides needed classrooms and a meeting space for the many ministries. The risen Christ which adorns the church's main entrance was also restored to the original copper finish.

Originally located at the back of the sanctuary, the Holy Spirit window has become the main window for the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. The Holy Spirit, symbolized by the descending dove and the seven flames of Pentecost is flanked by two, new window panels. One depicts the symbol of the Eucharist, the other that of the Christ Ichthus, the fish.
A restored and enhanced tabernacle, with the addition of two angels protecting the arc of the covenant, rest upon a mosaic base. This throne for the reservation of the tabernacle portrays the risen lamb standing on a mountain. This base compliments the tessarite blue and gold mosaic design on the main altar base.

This new window addition features Our Lady with the Christ child surrounded by a bower of fifteen roses, representing the mysteries of the rosary.
All of the new stained glass windows on the Main Street frontage of the church enhance the public facade of St. Louis Church; particularly during the evening hours when the soft glow of the church's interior lighting projects through the colored glass window panes.

The Visser Rowland organ was moved from the sanctuary to become the centerpiece of the new, rededicated music area located in the original choir loft. This location brings greater fidelity to the sound of the organ, while amplifying the voices of our choirs. For the first time, the Christ the King window facing the courtyard has been illuminated.
Beneath the loft, and approaching the exit to the church's courtyard, stands the baptismal font.

A view of the church's Main Street facade as seen by village patrons during the evening hours.
Beneath the "Great Window" is the illuminated risen Christ sculpture, the Marian window, and the Holy Ghost wind ow located in the chapel.
