Walking among us during his ministry, Jesus revealed God’s love through shared meals, healing touch, forgiving words and other rich signs. Christ continues to come to us today through shared meals, healing touch, and forgiving words, gesture and prayer—through each of the seven sacraments. Sacraments are at the heart of being Catholic.
Three sacraments initiate us into a life-giving relationship with Christ and bring us into the family of faith:
Two sacraments are God’s gift when we need healing:
- Anointing of the Sick (when we are seriously ill)
- Reconciliation (when we need to seek and find forgiveness)
