Youth Ministry (grades 6-8) is offered on Sundays from 9:15-10:15am. This is a traditional textbook-based program using the Finding God series, meeting weekly starting in September and following the school calendar until early May. Children are divided by grade level. Activities in the classroom include prayer services, craft projects and service activities.

Youth Ministry (grade 9) is offered on Sundays from 9:15-10:15am. For our 9th graders who will be celebrating Confirmation in the Spring, we dive deeper into our faith utilizing The Catholic Faith Handbook for Youth. This curriculum allows for some unique and captivating discussions and activities. Classes meet weekly beginning in September and follow the school calendar until early May.

• Families must be registered parishioners of St. Louis Church. Children attending public school are expected to be in a parish Faith Formation/Youth Ministry program each school year.
• Regular attendance (100%) is required in all programs.
• St. Louis is a stewardship parish: families make commitments to share their gifts of time, talent and/or treasure. They also make a commitment to regular participation at Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation.

As our children grow in their faith we want to offer them more opportunities to share that faith with others in their faith community and beyond. They are no longer attending weekly Faith Formation classes, but weekly Youth Ministry classes.  They continue to grow in their faith with a deeper understanding. Additionally, all youth registered for Youth Ministry are expected to participate in Youth Group.

Youth Group is an opportunity for teens to share more social experiences with their peers -- faith, food, fellowship, and fun!  Youth Group is open to all parish teens and youth in grades 6-12 are invited to join us for Youth Group. Teens will have the opportunity to participate in service projects, retreat encounters, and social experiences. For more information on Youth Group, click here.
